Thomas J. Mastrangelo

Commissioner Mastrangelo, in a dark blazer and blue tie, in front of an American flagThomas J. "Tom" Mastrangelo is serving his fifth, three-year term on the board, making him the second longest-serving member of the current line of Commissioners.

Commissioner Mastrangelo is a lifelong New Jersey resident who was first elected to the board in November 2010, and then selected by his colleagues to be director in 2013 and again in 2014.

He is the board liaison to the Heritage Commission and Economic Development Committee. He is the alternate liaison to Human Services, Law and Public Safety, Public Works and the Office of Planning & Preservation.

Professionally, Mastrangelo has more than 30 years of management and business consulting experience in the information technology industry, especially in the areas of design and delivery of technology solutions involving storage systems, networks, server platforms and support services.

A Montville resident, Commissioner Mastrangelo holds a bachelor’s degree from Seton Hall University and an M.B.A from Fairleigh Dickinson University, performing his international business study in England. He also has a Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law.

Commissioner Mastrangelo and his wife, Debbie, have three children, Christopher, Michael and Brittney; a daughter-in-law Allyson, and two grandchildren, Audriana and Emma.
