Community Assistance & Resources

We manage the following programs and offices:

Aging, Disabilities & Community Programming
Provides information, referrals and direct client assistance for senior citizens, persons with disabilities, veterans and caregivers. Technical assistance and public speakers are available for local organizations.

Office of Temporary Assistance
Administers the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), General Assistance, Medicaid, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, Child Support and Paternity, and Social Services which includes volunteer services and homeless services.

MAPS
MAPS’ curb to curb service is available to residents who are 60 or older or 18 or older and have a physical or mental disability that includes functional limitations or reside in the rural areas of Morris County. MAPS may also be able to provide transportation for people temporarily disabled by illness or injury.

Veterans Services Office
The Veterans Services Office provides information and assistance to honorably discharged Morris County Veterans and their families in obtaining VA benefits and entitlements.
