The Morris County Board of Commissioners recognized Deputy Surrogate Christopher Luongo at their work session last evening for his 30 years of service to Morris County.
Deputy Luongo joined Morris County as Deputy Surrogate in October 1995. Prior to that, Chris was an attorney with Maskaleris & Associates in Morristown. Commissioner Director Tayfun Selen presented Deputy Surrogate Luongo with a beautiful etching of the Morris County Courthouse and extended his and the other Commissioner’s congratulations and thanks for the Deputy Surrogate’s outstanding service to Morris County.
Surrogate Heather Darling also spoke at the celebration, thanking Chris for everything he does to serve the Surrogate’s Court and the citizens of Morris County.
