Larval Mosquito Control Operations 4/13/2022, 4/14/2022, 4/15/2022

Larval mosquito control operations are scheduled for Wednesday April 13, 2022 ( apx. Noon - 7:00 PM) , April 14, 2022 (apx 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM) and April 15, 2022 (apx 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM as necessary) via helicopter.

With the aid of the State Mosquito Control Commission, Morris County Mosquito Control will be applying granular larvicide to the Passaic, Rockaway, and Whippany River flood plains with a helicopter. If you have any questions, please call the office at 973-285-6450.

Parts of the following townships will be treated: 

East Hanover

Lincoln Park

Montville

Parsippany

Florham Park

Chatham Township

Chatham Borough

Please Note:  Mosquito larvae are the immature stage of the flying adult mosquito.  Larval habitat is standing water.  This operation will NOT be treating adult mosquitoes.  The product being used is VectoPrime FG
