Career Fire Fighter FF1-2101/FF2-2102

The Morris County Fire Academy Career Fire Recruit program has been developed with the cooperation of numerous career department Chiefs who assist and support the implementation of the program around the specific needs of career departments. This includes the Physical Fitness (PT) program in which the recruit must pass the required assessments to continue. The specific information on the entire program is available for any departments review.    This program meets the New Jersey Division of Fire Safety’s standardized Fire Fighter 1 & 2 requirements. The program meets the performance objectives of N.F.P.A. 1001 and N.J.A.C. 5:73-4.3 along with N.J.A.C. 5:75-6.1. Upon completion the recruit, will receive certification in FF1, FF2, BBP, RTK, CEVO, BAIL OUT, ICS- 100, 700, AND 200.

This class is for current employees of Career Fire Departments who have already been hired.

Registration for the program can only be completed by the sending agency. Full firefighting protective equipment is required along with the academy specified class B uniform.
