Through the Morris County Small Business Grant Program, financial support of up to $15,000 is to be provided for qualifying businesses, business owners and nonprofits that do not exceed $5 million in annual gross revenue and have experienced costly interruptions as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

On Thursday, February 25, 2021, the Morris County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division had the privilege of offering a presentation to the Careers in Criminal Justice class at Centenary University in Hackettstown. Students were able to attend the hybrid (in person and virtual) demonstration that highlighted the functions of Crime Scene Investigation, Crime Lab, and Evidence. D/Sgt Kovacs led the discussion, with assistance from D/Lt Tomasini, and facilitated by Dr. Douglas Compton. The presentation was followed by a question and answer period where students had the opportunity to discuss the process of becoming a Sheriff’s Officer and Crime Scene Investigator.
