Brief Description of Job and Division/Department
The Morris County Board of Elections Office is seeking a clerical person to join their team. This full time position (35 hours per week) will require you to participate in the daily operation to register/maintain a voter database of nearly 400,000 voters; recruit, train and assign poll workers, and verify and process voted mail-in and provisional ballots.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Perform routine, clerical work of a varied nature; data entry, scanning, answering phones, filing and other related duties as required. Review and verify mail-in ballot applications and other documents. Assist in maintaining inventory and assemble supplies for training class and Election Day.

Qualifications
Detail oriented and able to perform tasks as directed within prescribed timeframe • Must have excellent communication skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Outlook, Excel and Word) • Ability to read, write and speak English; bilingual English/Spanish a plus • Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment • Able to work overtime during election cycles to meet deadlines.
