Description

The Morris County Information Technology is seeking a candidate for a Manager of County Geographic Information Systems Operations. 

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Applicant would be responsible for: maintaining enterprise level GIS and database servers; managing large County-wide GIS datasets including parcels and 9-1-1 addresses; maintaining web servers and spatially enabled web applications; supervising GIS staff; and assisting other County agencies to implement GIS services for their specific needs  

Qualifications

Applicant must have 5+ years experience with ESRI Inc's. ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Server environment, must have experience administering and managing Microsoft SQL Server databases, and must be comfortable managing Microsoft IIS Web Servers. Other qualifications that are desired include: experience using Azure Cloud Services such as Blob Storage and App Services, experience using Microsoft .NET web application development, and experience in Single Page Application web development using frameworks such as Angular or React.
