View the creative works of fine arts and animation students as the County College of Morris Art and Design Gallery opens for in-person viewing of the Spring 2021 Student Portfolio and Presentation.

The exhibit opens April 1 and runs through April 15 in the  Art and Design Gallery. A reception, free and open to the public, will be held Thursday, April 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. Everyone who comes to campus is required to wear a mask and practice social distancing, and the college is following state capacity guidelines.

The portfolio class represents the summation of all of a student’s work from two years of creative studies at the college. Students exhibiting this spring are majors in Fine Art and Animation.

“Portfolio and Presentation courses at CCM help students to critique, improve and select their best work; create effective presentations; write documents for marketing their creative work to galleries, museums and prospective clients; and develop portfolios to gain entrance to four-year colleges and universities,” notes Todd L. W. Doney, CCM professor of visual arts.

Gallery visitors should enter through the main LRC entrance where they will be temperature checked. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The gallery is located in the Learning Resource Center (LRC) on CCM’s campus, 214 Center Grove Road, Randolph.
