The Morris County Park Commission has opened registration to some popular events that you can enjoy from your own home.

Morris Parks Virtual Lunch and Learn Lecture Series features flower arranging, wild visitors and classic painting. 

Many additional programs, including home schooling programs, birding, orienteering, are listed on the park commission's calendar page. or special events page

The following events take place online from noon – 12:45 p.m. The cost is $10 per person. Register online for the link.

Virtual Flowers for Mom: Arranging with Supermarket Flower for Kids

Using a bunch of flowers from the supermarket, young arrangers will create a centerpiece perfect for the most important “mom” in their lives.  We supply the container, greens, and decorations. You supply the flowers. 

Wednesday, May 5, 4-5 p.m. Ages 7-12. Virtual program through The Frelinghuysen Arboretum. Cost: $20 per child.

Virtual Floral Arranging with Supermarket Flowers for Mother’s Day

Make a simple supermarket bouquet into a gift-worthy Mother’s Day arrangement. Buy your own flowers and work at home alongside Ann Fahey, Superintendent of Horticulture Education, to make your own bouquet as you learn the tips and tricks of the trade.

Tuesday, May 4, 10 - 11 a.m. Virtual program through The Frelinghuysen Arboretum. Cost: $10 per person.
