Morris County Surrogate Heather Darling delivered an informative and engaging presentation to the Seniors Club of Harding Township at the Church of Christ the King today. Invited as a guest speaker, Surrogate Darling highlighted the vital role her office plays in supporting seniors, including those dealing with mobility issues. She explained how her office is fully equipped to provide accessible services and resources, ensuring that all residents can confidently navigate the complexities of wills, trusts, and estates.
During her talk, Surrogate Darling emphasized the importance of having a will to secure one’s legacy and prevent potential disputes among loved ones. She also discussed when it might be appropriate to consider a trust and outlined key moments to update estate documents. The interactive session allowed seniors to ask questions and gain valuable insights, leaving them better prepared to plan for their futures and utilize the services of the Morris County Surrogate’s Office.
