September 18: Commencement of mailing of Mail-in ballots for the General Election.
October 12: Last day to register to vote for the General Election. Board of Elections office open until 9 p.m.
Last day to file a change of residence.
October 19: On or before this date, applications for appointment of Challengers for General Election shall be filed with the County Board of Elections.
October 20: Mailing of Sample Ballots.
October 23 - October 31: Early voting period for early In-Person Voting.
October 26: Last day to apply for a Mail-in Ballot application (formerly civilian absentee ballot) for the General Election. (This is for those who have moved within Morris County, or did not receive a Mail-in ballot.)
- November 2: General Election Day.
- Polls open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- In-person Mail-in ballots must be returned to the Board of Elections or deposited in an Official Ballot Drop Box by 8 p.m.
- Mail-in ballots sent by United States Postal Service must be postmarked on or before Tuesday, November 2nd, and received by Monday, November 8th.
