Surrogate Darling Speaking With Randolph Council

Morris County Surrogate Heather Darling spoke at the Randolph Township Council meeting last week to provide an update on the ongoing work and modernization efforts of the Morris County Surrogate’s Court. During her remarks, Surrogate Darling presented the Court’s 2024 Annual Report, which outlined key statistics and the thousands of county residents her office has served over the past year through probate, adoption, and guardianship matters.

Darling highlighted the office’s continued commitment to efficiency and accessibility through the integration of new technologies. She discussed the successful launch of an AI chat button on the Surrogate’s website, which assists residents with common inquiries, and provided a demonstration and explanation of how AI innovation will be utilized to enhance responsiveness and streamline client interactions. These innovations are part of a broader effort to improve customer service, reduce wait times, and ensure that every resident receives timely and reliable support.

If you would like to have Surrogate Darling speak at your organization or community event, please email Christina Ramirez at the Morris County Surrogate's Court at cramirez@co.morris.nj.us. We look forward to helping your group better understand these important topics.
