Surrogate Darling With Surrogate Staff at Morristown 2025 Fall Festival

Under clear skies and unseasonably warm weather, Surrogate Heather Darling and members of the Morris County Surrogate’s team participated in the 2025 Morristown Fall Festival, held yesterday in the heart of downtown.

Festival attendees stopped by the Surrogate’s Court booth throughout the afternoon to pick up informational brochures on probate, wills, and estate planning, while staff members were on hand to answer questions and provide guidance. The booth remained a popular stop for residents looking to learn more about the services and resources available through the Surrogate’s Court.

In addition to connecting with festival-goers, Surrogate Darling visited with local merchants and nonprofit organizations whose displays lined the downtown streets, highlighting the strong sense of community that the event fosters each year. The Surrogate’s Office presence emphasized their continued dedication to ensuring residents are informed and supported in navigating important life matters.

The Morris County Surrogate’s Court extends its appreciation to the Morristown Partnership for organizing another vibrant and successful festival. With beautiful weather drawing an enthusiastic crowd, this year’s event was a wonderful opportunity for the Surrogate’s Office to engage directly with the community in a positive and welcoming environment.
