Morris County Surrogate Heather J. Darling Esq. and her staff wish you a safe and happy Independence Day as we commemorate the adoption of the Declaration of Independence in 1776, officially marking the colonies separation from British rule.
As you enjoy your holiday with family and friends at cookouts, parades, and firework displays, we hope you will take some time to reflect on our nation's history and what this nation's Independence means for us all.
In observance of the holiday, the Morris County Surrogate’s Court will be closed on Friday, July 4th. Our office will resume regular hours on Monday, July 7th. For any information or resources during this time, please visit our website at www.morrissurrogate.com. We look forward to continuing our service to the Morris County community.
