Morris County Surrogate Heather J. Darling recently spoke to members of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) Chapter 424. The group, made up of Picatinny Arsenal retirees, heard about the many services and resources offered through the Morris County Surrogate’s Office. Surrogate Darling explained how the office helps families with probate matters, estate administration, and guardianships. She also shared recent innovations designed to make services more accessible and efficient for Morris County residents.
During her remarks, Surrogate Darling stressed the importance of planning ahead and understanding the processes that may affect retirees and their families. She also took questions from the audience, giving members the chance to discuss their general questions directly. Surrogate Darling welcomed the opportunity to connect with former federal employees and reaffirmed her office’s commitment to providing guidance and support with professionalism and compassion.
