Daytop New Jersey-Mendham Teacher Charged With Sexual Assault

Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp and Mendham Borough Police Chief Pasquale Libertino announce that Donna D. Peirce-Faley, 28 years old, of Pompton Lakes, New Jersey, has been charged with Second Degree Sexual Assault for acts involving an 18 year old.
Defendant allegedly engaged in oral sex and sexual intercourse with an 18-year-old male while he was a court-ordered resident at Daytop New Jersey-Mendham, a drug treatment facility, and defendant was a teacher at the facility.
Peirce-Faley was arrested on November 6, 2014 following an investigation conducted by the Mendham Borough Police Department and the Morris County Prosecutor's Office. The investigation was led by Detective Supervisor Anne-Marie Truppo and Detective Jazmin Munoz-Felder of the Morris County Prosecutor's Office and Detective Christopher Irons of the Mendham Borough Police Department.
The investigation was initiated by information forwarded to law enforcement authorities by Daytop New Jersey-Mendham which fully cooperated with the investigation.
The Honorable Catherine I. Enright, J.S.C. set bail at $150,000, no ten percent. Defendant is to have no contact with the victim or children under 18. The defendant was unable to post bail and was remanded to the Morris County Correctional Facility.

A criminal complaint is merely an accusation. Despite this accusation, the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until he or she has been proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
