Florham Park Man Sentenced in Sexual Assault Case

Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp and Chief Robert Treiber of the Florham Park Police Department announce that Mark J. Iantosca, age 52, of Florham Park, New Jersey was sentenced today by the Honorable Catherine I. Enright, J.S.C., to (7) years in New Jersey State Prison. He must also register as a sex offender under Megan's Law. The Defendant pled guilty on May 27, 2016, to the charge of Sexual Assault, in violation of N.J.S 2C:14-2c (3) (a), a crime of the second degree.

On February 26, 2016, an investigation commenced when the victim reported to law enforcement that the defendant engaged in acts of reciprocal oral sex with him at the Defendant's home. At the time of the acts the victim was a child between the ages of 16 and 18 years old.

The Defendant admitted in court to performing numerous acts of penetration with a child between the ages of 16 and 18 years old. Specifically, the Defendant admitted to performing acts of fellatio on the minor. The Defendant also admitted that he directed the minor child to perform acts of fellatio on the Defendant himself. These actions occurred on multiple occasions between the dates of June 15, 2008 and June 14, 2010.
