Juvenile Charged with One Count of False Public Alarm

Published on December 09, 2014

Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp and Mendham Borough Police Chief Pasquale G. Libertino announce today that a fifteen year old juvenile has been charged with one count of False Public Alarms, a crime of a third degree, related to an alleged threat towards the West Morris Mendham High School.
Prosecutor Knapp would like to thank the Mendham Borough Police Department, the Morris County Sheriff's Office, and members of the Major Crimes Unit of the Morris County Prosecutor's Office for their collective assistance in this matter.
A juvenile complaint is merely an accusation.  Despite this accusation, the juvenile is presumed innocent unless and until each charge has been proved beyond a reasonable doubt.
