Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp and Randolph Police Chief David Stokoe announce today that a juvenile has been charged with two counts of Death by Auto and one count of Assault by Auto stemming from a fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred on July 26, 2014 in the Township of Randolph near 48 Ironia Road.  The name of the juvenile, as well as the victims, are not being released due to their ages.
Prosecutor Knapp would like to thank the Township of Randolph Police Department, the Morris County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Section, the Township of Randolph Fire Department, and members of the Major Crimes Unit of the Morris County Prosecutor's Office for their collective assistance in this matter.
A criminal complaint is merely an accusation.  Despite this accusation, the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until he or she has been proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
