Several members of the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office joined other Morris County community groups on Sunday, July 20, 2025, for the Annual Diversity Day Celebration, hosted by the Morris County Human Relations Commissioner, a member of the Diversity Coalition of Morris County. Diversity Day was held in Morristown and supported by various religious, cultural, and educational organizations and community members.

The afternoon included an Interfaith Service, live music, food, door prizes, and multicultural talent performances throughout the day.  The goal of the annual event is to bring people together, safely, to celebrate diversity and obtain information that could help create better understanding about new cultures among all in attendance. The event was hosted inside by the Morristown United Methodist Church.

As a meet-and-greet with the community, members of the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office staffed a table with helpful literature for adults, such as brochures on identity theft and internet safety for children, as well as souvenirs for the children in attendance.

Prosecutor Robert Carroll said, “I applaud the continued efforts of our Community Outreach team - in particular, Deputy Chief Jan-Michael Monrad, Chief Assistant Prosecutor Tia Manochio, Lt. Keisha Higgs, Sgt. Patrick LaGuerre, Sgt. Sasha Gould, Det. Supervisor Martyna Ruminska, Det. Michael Sandford, Det. Jazmin Felder, Det. Danielle Crosson, Det. Jocelyn Allen, Det. Nicholas Jung, and Det. Matthew Marino - for their ongoing efforts to engage the great Morris County community, and to nurture partnerships with all our religious, cultural and civic associates. Together, we strive to make Morris County a safe and welcoming place to live and work.”
