The Morris County Prosecutor's Office participated in the Morris County Courthouse's annual Take Our Daughters & Sons to Work Day on Thursday, April 26. Multiple engaging activities were provided for the participating children by the Morris County Prosecutor's Office, the Morris County Sheriff's Office, and the Morris County Judiciary. These included a mock trial with Judge David H. Ironson, a K-9 Unit demonstration from the Morris County Sheriff's Office, and a Bullying & Safety presentation given by Sergeant Mark Castellano of the Morris County Prosecutor's Office. Sergeant Castellano covered what constitutes being a bully, examples of the proper way to deal with a bully, and who the trusted adults are that children should feel comfortable talking to. It was a great day for the children to learn about how the criminal justice system works, while having fun doing so.
