Morris County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp and Chief of Investigations Stephen F. Wilson Jr. Announce a New Hire

Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp and Chief of Investigations Stephen F. Wilson, Jr. announce the hiring and swearing in of Paul Papamarkos as a Morris County Prosecutor's Office Detective.

Detective Paul Papamarkos was officially sworn in as a Morris County Prosecutor's Office Detective on November 13, 2018. He will be assigned to the General Investigation Unit within the Courts and Administration Division. Prior to joining the Morris County Prosecutor's Office, Detective Papamarkos served as both a Patrol Officer and a Detective with the Madison Police Department. While working as a Patrol Officer, he was awarded the 2013 New Jersey State Policemen's Benevolent Association Meritorious Service Award for apprehending five suspects committing a strong-armed robbery on a New Jersey Transit Train.

Prosecutor Knapp said, We are excited to have such a qualified member of law enforcement join the Morris County Prosecutor's Office. Detective Papamarkos' past experiences as a member of the Madison Police Department have properly prepared him to continue serving the citizens of Morris County.
