On May 4, 2019, the Essex County Crime Prevention Officers Association honored Morris County Prosecutor's Office Chief of Staff Rocco Miscia, Jr. with a plaque for his 14 years of dedicated service as Director of the former Essex County College Public Safety Academy. The plaque was presented during the opening ceremony of the Essex County Police & Public Safety Expo., which was held at the Livingston Mall in Livingston, NJ. Prior to serving as Director, Chief of Staff Miscia served with the Montclair Township Police Department for 25 years, retiring as a Captain.
Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp attended the ceremony and stated, Chief of Staff Miscia has had an illustrious career as a member of law enforcement in New Jersey. We are proud to see a valuable member of our office honored by his peers in the law enforcement community.
