Morris County Prosecutor's Office Participates in Bethel A.M.E. Church of Morristown Back to School Event

On September 2, 2018, Detective Spence Osaigbovo represented the Morris County Prosecutor's Office at the Bethel A.M.E. Church of Morristown's Back to School event. Reverend Sidney Williams of Bethel A.M.E. Church of Morristown and his team organized this event as a way to bring the community together with children returning for a new school year.

The afternoon consisted of a barbeque, a talent show, live music, and a backpack giveaway for children returning to school. The backpacks were distributed full of school supplies for those kids needing new materials. Detective Osaigbovo, representing the Morris County Prosecutor's Office, greeted the children, provided informational pamphlets, and souvenirs for the children attending the event.

Morris County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp said, The Morris County Prosecutor's Office was honored to be a part of such an important event for the Morristown community. Bethel A.M.E. Church of Morristown continues to demonstrate their dedication to bettering our community, which is inspirational.
