Morris County Prosecutor's Office Participates in National Night Out
Published on August 07, 2019
On August 6, 2019, members of the Morris County Prosecutor's Office joined Morris County residents for the annual National Night Out. The residents in attendance met with the members of law enforcement who serve in their respective communities for a night filled with entertainment, activities, and food. As a National Award Winner since 2007, Morris County has been continuously recognized for having a strong turnout at all locations throughout the county, and this year's National Night Out was no different.
Members of the Morris County Prosecutor's Office attended National Night Out at three locations. Morris County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp, First Assistant Prosecutor Tom Zelante, and Acting Chief of Investigations Chris Kimker were at Mennen Sports Arena in Morris Township with Detective Supervisor Patrick LaGuerre and Detective Kerri Griffin. First Assistant Prosecutor Zelante also attended at Butler Police Department with Detective Joe Ellis and Detective Mohammed Thomas. Detective Corinne Mason, Detective Janine Buchalski, and Victim Witness Advocate Kelly Klinger were at Firemen's Field in Rockaway Borough. At all three locations, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office had tables set up and provided public safety information, as well as fun giveaways for any children in attendance.
Prosecutor Knapp said, It is always a pleasure to meet with the residents of Morris County at National Night Out. It is instrumental in fostering the relationship between law enforcement and the communities in which they serve. I want to thank the members of the Morris County Prosecutor's Office, local law enforcement, and our community members for making this another successful National Night Out.
