Morris County Prosecutor's Office and Randolph Police Department to Hold House of Worship: Active Shooter Training

On July 9th, 2019, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office, the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness, and the Randolph Police Department will be holding a training presentation covering House of Worship Active Shooters. It will be held at the Resurrection Parish at 651 Millbrook Avenue in Randolph and will begin at 6:00pm.

The program will begin with remarks from Lt. Jeffrey Gomez of the Randolph Police Department and Morris County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp. Following the remarks, the Active Shooter Presentation will be presented by Detective Lt. John Paige of the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness Operations Bureau and Morris County Prosecutor's Office Director of Critical Infrastructure Patrick Owens. At the completion of the presentation, those in attendance will have the opportunity to ask questions.

Prosecutor Knapp stated, The security and safety of all houses of worship is a priority in our office. Detective Lt. Paige and Director Owens will be providing valuable information for members of the community and we hope to have a strong turnout for the program.
