Acting Morris County Prosecutor Maggie Calderwood announces Corinne Chaplin has joined the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office and was sworn in as an Assistant Prosecutor. A swearing in ceremony performed by the Honorable Stephen J. Taylor, Presiding Criminal Judge of the Superior Court, was held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
Assistant Prosecutor Chaplin will be assigned to the Pre-Trial Services / Diversion / Firearms Regulations Unit within the Courts & Administration Division.
AP Chaplin most recently served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Judge H. Matthew Curry, J.S.C. at the Warren/Hunterdon/Somerset Vicinage. She previously worked as a legal intern for Duquesne University’s Pennsylvania Innocence Project, and a graduate assistant for the Thomas R. Kline School of Law Admissions Office.
AP Chaplin graduated from University of the Sciences with a Bachelor of Science in Biology degree and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Humanities degree, and earned her Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law.
Acting Prosecutor Calderwood said, “I am proud to have Assistant Prosecutor Chaplin join our legal team within the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office. We look forward to working with her.”
