Approximately two hundred members of the community attended the program to learn more about the Heroin and Opioid Epidemic. Those in attendance included community leaders and clergy, eager to embrace the Morris County Stigma-Free Communities Initiative. The goal of this Initiative is to eradicate the stigma associated with substance abuse disorders. Chief Assistant Prosecutor Brad Seabury's one hour presentation reinforced this concept, and further educated the audience about this plague affecting Morris County and the state of New Jersey. The Morris County Prosecutor's Office regularly works with community leaders, with the goal of combatting the Heroin and Opioid Epidemic. Any independent organizations seeking to hold similar programs are welcome to contact Chief Assistant Prosecutor Seabury at 973-285-6200.
