Prosecutor Knapp Announces Update in Alstede Farms Incident

Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp announces the cause and manner of Sunday's fatality and injuries at Alstede Farms and confirms the identities of the adult individuals who were injured.
As the result of a post-mortem examination conducted by Morris County Chief Medical Examiner Ronald Suarez, the cause of death of the minor child, Elizabeth Fuehring, was a blunt head trauma.
The manner of death was listed as an accident.
Sarah Fuehring and Joanna Alemany suffered serious but non-threatening injuries which they are being treated for.
Prosecutor Knapp would like to thank Police Chief Wayne Martini and the Chester Township Police Department, the Morris County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Section, the Morris County Medical Examiner's Office, and members of the Major Crimes Unit of the Morris County Prosecutor's Office for their collective assistance in this matter.
