Second Young Man Recovered from Budd Lake

Shortly after 4:00 p.m. today divers from the New Jersey State Police Marine Service Bureau recovered the body of the second young man who had fallen through the ice in Budd Lake, NJ on January 7, 2013. New Jersey State Police divers had been at the scene all day, for the second consecutive day, and made multiple attempts in the today's recovery effort. They had recovered the first young man's body yesterday.

Acting Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp stated, "It is with great sadness that I announce the deaths of Nicholas Michael Cianciotto, III and Clyde Frederick Schimanski, III, both of whom were 15 years old. The young men were deeply loved by their families and friends. The entire Morris County community mourns their loss".

A press conference regarding the recovery actions in Budd Lake will be held tomorrow January 10, 2013 in the Freeholders Meeting room at the Morris County Administration & Records Building. It is tentatively scheduled for mid-day and an announcement as to the exact time will be issued tomorrow morning at 9:00a.m.
