Update - Human Remains Discovered in Roxbury, New Jersey

Acting Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp and Roxbury Police Chief James Simonetti announce that the investigation concerning the human remains discovered in Roxbury, New Jersey is ongoing. As of this time, information has been uncovered and promising leads have been developed which are being followed. Law enforcement agencies are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the remains.

As details are confirmed, updated reports will be issued.

Acting Prosecutor Knapp and Chief Simonetti thank the Roxbury Police Department, the Morris County Sheriff's Office Crime Scene Investigation, the Morris County Medical Examiner's Office, the Wharton Police Department, the New Jersey State Police and the Morris County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit for their continuing work on this investigation.
