Expandable Straight\MEB\ Instructor Course

Pre‑Requisite:  Certification of Expandable Straight or Side Handle baton.

 This course will provide the student with the instructor-level training needed to return to his/her agency and, as that agency’s instructor, develop and conduct a specialized program designed around the agency’s exact operational needs in the area of side handle and straight baton tactics for sworn personnel.

The student must have certification in a Basic Side Handle Baton Course or Expandable Straight Baton Course, show proficiency in the use of the baton as well as the ability to instruct. To successfully complete the course each student must prepare a lesson plan and course outline.  Class size is limited to 25.

Note:  Participants must wear gym clothing and bring an Expandable Straight or Side Handle baton and belt holder.
