A Guide to the Most Critical Leadership Concepts for Law Enforcement in 2021

Leadership is among the most challenging, exciting, and rewarding experiences one could have, but like anything else, it is a learned skill set. Today’s law enforcement leaders must be highly skilled and highly knowledgeable as to the tenets and possibilities of modern leadership.

Presented in a methodized outline manner in concert with PowerPoint, this class will begin with a discussion on the concept and true definition of high-performance leadership followed by an analysis of the existing law enforcement leadership development structure.

We will examine the traits of successful leaders in law enforcement, the private sector, the military, and beyond. We will also explore where leaders sometimes fall short.

Ultimately, taking your leadership to the next level is accomplished by taking your people to the next level. When executed properly, the possibilities are limitless. This course will benefit both new and seasoned law enforcement leaders.
