On Sept. 10, the front doors to the Administration and Records Building on Court Street will be closed nightly, from 5 to 11 p.m., for about two weeks to accommodate a replacement project. Visitors may still access the building via the courthouse directly across Court Street.
This three-day course is for current firearm instructors who would like to become Police Carbine Instructors. This course will include Operational Safety and the Police Carbine, policy development on patrol weapon supplements, carbine shooting techniques, carbine nomenclature and live fire drills. The course will conclude with qualifications on the N.J. Attorney General’s Carbine Qualification Course (Day & Night).
Pre-Requisite: All attendees must be qualified firearm instructors and successfully completed a state approved firearm instructor course. Proof of same must accompany Academy registration.
Required Equipment and Dress:
Class size is limited to 12.
