On Sept. 10, the front doors to the Administration and Records Building on Court Street will be closed nightly, from 5 to 11 p.m., for about two weeks to accommodate a replacement project. Visitors may still access the building via the courthouse directly across Court Street.
The radar training program is based upon the voluntary compliance of participating police agencies and training requirements established by the Division of Criminal Justice in 1990. The goal of the program is to deliver accurate and comprehensive speed enforcement training for operators and instructors throughout New Jersey based upon case law and the Doppler principle.
This refresher course is required for radar instructors once every three years. In the third year, prior to expiration, each instructor must attend the refresher course. The course is conducted from 9 am to 1 pm. You will no longer receive notification that you are due for recertification. It is your responsibility to renew your certification prior to expiration.
Who Should Attend: Law enforcement officers who teach radar operations.
