Ensuring the safety of our communities is a responsibility that belongs to everyone. For over 20 years, the NTAC has conducted research on the thinking and behaviors of those who commit acts of targeted violence in an effort to prevent future tragedies. This training course explores the behavioral patterns, warning signs, and motivations of perpetrators of mass attacks, with a focus on misogynistic extremism. Participants will learn how law enforcement can utilize a multidisciplinary approach to identify, assess, and intervene with individuals exhibiting concerning behaviors. The course emphasizes the importance of behavioral threat assessment to prevent future acts of violence against women.
