Morris County Sheriff's Office Crime Scene Investigation and K-9 Units Aid Suspected Homicide Probe

Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp, Morris County Prosecutor's Office Chief of Investigations Stephen F. Wilson, Jr., and Morris Township Police Chief Mark DiCarlo confirm the investigation of an alleged homicide.

On February 5, 2019, members of the Morris Township Police Department, the Morris County Sheriff's Office “ Crime Scene Investigation, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit, and the Morris County Medical Examiner's Office assisted the New York Police Department in investigating a scene located at Bailey Hollow Road, Morris Township. The investigation is related to an alleged homicide.

The investigation remains ongoing and further information will not be released at this time. There is no danger to the public at this time.
