Veterans Services Office

We help Morris County veterans and their families with their VA benefits and entitlements.

Our Veterans Services Officers can:

  • Provide information and referrals for 
    • Education
    • Veterans insurance
    • VA home loans
    • VA Healthcare
    • Veterans Memorial Homes or VA Nursing Home
    • Vocational Rehabilitation
  • Make referrals to appropriate organizations and agencies for community-based services
  • Reach out to homeless veterans and connect them to community services
  • Provide referrals for job assistance and training
  • Help with getting transportation
  • Provide flags to decorate in honor of Memorial Day

Mental Health Services

Are you a veteran, or a family member of a veteran? You are eligible for free mental health services from Morris County and the Mental Health Association.

Veterans and their family members can contact us for the following services:

  • Psychotherapy
  • Group counseling
  • Support groups
  • Psycho-educational groups for families and friends
  • Case management, including linkages and referrals

All services provided by the Mental Health Association are grant-funded and free to veterans and their families. (Linkages to other services, such as medical appointments, may have a cost.)
