Primary Election

April 14: Last day to change your party affiliation for the Primary Election.

April 24: Commencement of mailing of Mail-in ballots for the Primary Election.

May 18: Last day to register to vote for the Primary Election. Board of Elections office open until 9 p.m.
Last day to file a change of residence.

May 25: On or before this date, applications for appointment of Challengers for Primary Election shall be filed with the County Board of Elections.

June 1: Last day to apply for a Mail-in Ballot application (formerly civilian absentee ballot) for the Primary Election. (This is for those who have moved within Morris County, or did not receive a Mail-in ballot.)
- June 8: Primary Election Day.
- Polls open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- In-person Mail-in ballots must be returned to the Board of Elections by 8 p.m.
- Mail-in ballots sent by United States Postal Service must be postmarked on or before June 8 and received by June 14 at 8 p.m.
