ATTENTION VOTERS

PRIMARY ELECTION – JUNE 2, 2026

PARTY DECLARATION

NEW JERSEY Election Law requires that certain voters who intend to vote in the June Primary Election to file a written declaration of party affiliation by Wednesday, April 8, 2026.  (55 Days before the June 2, 2026 Primary: N.J.S.A 19:23-45)

VOTERS WHO MUST FILE

1. Voters who intend to vote in a political party other than their last Primary vote.

VOTERS WHO NEED NOT FILE

1. Voters who shall vote in the same political party as their last Primary vote.
2. All registered voters who are Unaffiliated or have never voted in a Primary Election.

DEADLINE FOR FILING:  WEDNESDAY, APRIL 8, 2026

You may obtain Voter Registration Forms to declare or change your party affiliation from the Board of Elections office at the address below, or from your Municipal Clerk’s Office, either in person, by writing, or by telephone at 973-285-6715.  Copies of the form are also available online at the County’s website, www.elections.morriscountynj.gov.

DECLARACION DE PARTIDO

La Leyes de Elección de Nueva Jersey exigen que ciertos Votantes que tiene la intención de votar en la Elección Primaria en Junio tienen que archivar una Declaración De Partido en escrito antes de Miércoles, el 8 de Abril de 2026. (55 Días antes de la Elección Primaria del 2 de Junio de 2026: N.J.S.A 19:23-45)

VOTANTES QUE TIENEN QUE ARCHIVAR

1. Votantes que tienen la intención de votar en un Partido Político cual es diferente al último voto en la Elección Primaria.

    

   VOTANTES QUE NO TIENEN NECESIDAD DE ARCHIVAR

2. Votantes que tienen la intención de votar en el mismo Partido Político de su último voto en la Elección Primaria.
3. Votantes registrados que nunca se han declarado como afiliado de un partido político o nunca antes han votado en unas Elecciones Primarias.

FECHA TOPE PARA ARCHIVAR:  MERICOLES, 8 DE ABRIL DE  2026

Usted puede obtener un formulario de Inscripción de Votantes para declarar una afiliación a un partido político en la Oficina de la Junta Electoral en la dirección indicada abajo, o en la oficina de su Secretario Municipal, ya sea solicitándolos en persona, por escrito, o llamando al numero de teléfono 973-285-6715.  También se pueden conseguir copias en línea del formulario en el sitio web del Condado, www.elections.morriscountynj.gov.
