2026 Meeting Dates

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that, in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, Executive Orders and N.J.A.C. 5:39-1.1 to 1.7, the Morris County Open Space Trust Fund Committee will hold its regularly scheduled 2026 meetings on the following dates. The meetings will be held remotely via Cisco Webex video conference and in person, unless noted below.
To attend a remote public meeting, you may use the link or dial-in number that will be provided on the Office of Planning and Preservation’s website. www.morriscountynj.gov/planning and the agenda prior to each meeting.
Public comments are welcome in person or by submitting written comments to the Morris County Open Space Program Coordinator. Written comments may be submitted via email with the subject line “Public Comment” to the Morris County Open Space Program Coordinator, Barbara Murray at bmurray@co.morris.nj.us or by mail addressed to Barbara Murray, Morris County Open Space Program Coordinator, Morris County Office of Planning and Preservation, 30 Schuyler Place – 4th Floor, PO Box 900, Morristown, NJ 07963. Emailed comments must be received at least eight (8) hours prior to the meeting. Mailed comments must be received by 4:00 PM the day before the meeting. There will be no public comment accepted via Webex. All comments will need to be made in person.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that this annual meeting notice will be posted and maintained throughout the entire year of 2026 on a public bulletin board in a place of prominence at the Morris County Schuyler Annex Building, 30 Schuyler Place, Morristown NJ 07960. This schedule will also be maintained on the Morris County website, www.morriscountynj.gov and the website of the Office of Planning and Preservation www.morriscountynj.gov/planning.
All meetings will take place in the Second Floor Conference Room located in the Morris County Schuyler Annex Building, 30 Schuyler Place, Morristown NJ 07960 unless indicated below.
Morris County Open Space Trust Fund Committee Meeting Dates
March 30, 2026 - Reorganization Meeting at 7:00 PM
September 16, 2026 – 7:00 PM
December 14, 2026 – 7:00 PM

The Committee will conduct site visits in person at 8:30 AM on September 26, 2026.
- The Committee will convene meeting at the Morris County Schuyler Annex Building, 30 Schuyler Place, Morristown NJ 07960
- All site visits will be conducted in closed session.

October 22, 2026 – Applicant Final Presentations and Committee Deliberations
- The Committee will convene meeting at 6:00 PM in the large meeting room of the Morris County Library located at 30 East Hanover Avenue, Whippany NJ 07981
- All applicant presentations and committee deliberations will be conducted in closed session.
