PUBLIC HEARINGS ON PROPOSED SALE OF A PORTION OF COUNTY-OWNED PROPERTY LOCATED AT 540 WEST HANOVER AVENUE
(BLOCK 1901, LOT 1) IN THE TOWNSHIP OF MORRIS

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the County of Morris (the “County”), pursuant to the provisions of the Local Lands and Buildings Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:12-1 et seq. (the “LLBL”), proposes to sell a 10-acre portion of County-owned property located at 540 West Hanover Avenue (Block 1901, Lot 1) in the Township of Morris, New Jersey, more commonly known as the Morris View Healthcare Center (the “Property”).
In accordance with the provisions of the LLBL, the County has prepared a report regarding the proposed disposition of the Property entitled, “Report on Proposed Sale of Property Located at 540 West Hanover Avenue in Township of Morris, New Jersey, Owned by the County of Morris Known as Morris View Healthcare Center” dated April 14, 2026, which report is available to the public upon request to the County Purchasing Agent via email at mcpurchasing@co.morris.nj.us and on the Morris County Improvement Authority’s website at https://www.morriscountynj.gov/Departments/Improvement-Authority/About-the-Improvement-Authority/Improvement-Authority-Public-Notices. Such report shall also be made available at each of the public hearings.
The County has scheduled two (2) public hearings concerning the proposed sale of the Property as follows:
First Hearing
Date: May 19, 2026

On such respective dates, times and places, all interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard concerning the proposed sale of the Property. Members of the public may also submit written comments regarding the proposed sale of the above-referenced Property on or before the respective dates of the public hearings to the County Purchasing Agent via email at mcpurchasing@co.morris.nj.us.
