The Morris County Board of County Commissioners Reorganization Meeting 

This meeting will be held in person and may be viewed via WebEx. 

This public meeting, at which a new Director and Deputy Director will be appointed for 2023, begins at 6:00 p.m. on Floor 5 of the Morris County Administration & Records Building at 10 Court St., Morristown, N.J. 

There is no public comment portion at this special meeting. The public is welcome to comment and participate at the board’s regularly scheduled public meetings, which begin at 7 p.m.

The Board of County Commissioners sets policies for the operation of six super-departments, more than 30 divisions plus authorities, commissions, boards and study committees. Actual day-to-day operation of departments is supervised by the county administrator. The Board of County Commissioners has been granted broad powers by the state legislature to regulate county property, finances and affairs.
