Household Hazardous Waste Drop-off Event

The MCMUA is hosting its third Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Drop-off Event of the year on Saturday, Sept. 20 at Pequannock Valley Park, located on Marvin Road in Pompton Plains. This event will run from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (no appointment needed) and is an opportunity for Morris County residents to safely dispose of chemical waste such as gasoline, motor oil, pool chemicals, fertilizers, and many other hazardous materials. Please see our website at mcmua.com for a full list of acceptable items.

Proof of Morris County residency is required; (current driver's license, valid lease, tax bill, or any other bill with a Morris County address). Individuals without proof of residency will not be permitted access to the event. Businesses and commercial generators are not permitted to dispose of the material at these events and must use the permanent HHW facility in Mount Olive by scheduling an appointment for disposal through our website.
