Enjoy artistic floral interpretations of the artwork of the Frelinghuysen Arboretum’s original donor, Matilda Frelinghuysen, at this in-person Tent Event.

The Morris County Park Commission invites the public to our first ever Art in Bloom show on Sunday, June 13, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Event Tent at The Frelinghuysen Arboretum in Morris Township. View the more than a dozen paintings by Matilda Frelinghuysen that she created of scenes from her homes at Whippany Farm, now The Frelinghuysen Arboretum, and in New York City. Each painting will be brought to life by a fabulous floral arrangement created by garden club members and both professional and amateur flower arrangers. The show reveals who Matilda Frelinghuysen and of her contributions to both Morris County and the Morris County Park Commission.

Admission to this event is $10 per person. To register go to Morris Parks registration site. Space is limited and entry is based on timed-tickets.  This program is recommended for ages 12 and up. The Frelinghuysen Arboretum is located at 353 East Hanover Avenue, in Morris Township. Enjoy this in-person experience while adhering to safety measures that will insure the well-being of visitors, patrons and staff.

The Morris County Park Commission, the largest park system in the state of New Jersey, currently protects and maintains 18,700 acres at 38 distinct sites and a year-round calendar of events and activities.
