Astronaut Scott Kelly to Speak at Morris County Chamber's Centennial Meeting

"The Sky is Not the Limit"

Retired NASA astronaut Capt. Scott Kelly will serve as the keynote speaker at the 100th Annual Meeting of the Morris County Chamber of Commerce, being held virtually Jan. 28, from noon to 1:30 p.m. The meeting's theme is, "The Sky is Not the Limit."

Kelly will share his remarkable story of his time in space and how personal determination made the difference while meeting challenges on space missions and in his personal life. Kelly set the record for the total accumulated number of days spent in space, the single longest space mission by an American astronaut.

Kelly grew up in West Orange.

Registrants will receive a copy of Capt. Kelly's"New York Times"best-selling memoir,"Endurance: My Year in Space, A Lifetime of Discovery," courtesy of the law firm Porzio Bromberg & Newman.The books will beavailable for pickup at the chamber office during the week of February 1.

The meeting also will feature the presentation of the Delta Dental Leaders in Business awards, as well as the Saint Claire's Health Huber Award to Tyler Cerbo of Cerbo's Parsippany Green Houses. The Huber Award is presented to someone in the Morris County business, nonprofit or government community who displays outstanding community leadership.
