Baby Lamb Frolic and Other Morris County Parks Events

The Morris County Park Commission Has Opened Registration to some popular events. To register for the programs, note the date and event then visit the park commission's calendar page.
Lamb Frolic!
All ages are welcome to help the Fosterfields Living History Farm staff socialize the baby lambs! Participants can interact with the lambs one-on-one. This rare opportunity allows for petting, playing and possibly feeding!
UPDATE: the Saturday slots are all taken.
A few open spots are available:
Friday, April 23: 9 -10 a.m. or 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Friday, April 30: 9 -10 a.m. or 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Location: Fosterfields Living History Farm, Kahdena Road, Morristown.

Lunch and Learn: Secrets of our Treasured Gardens
Looking for treasures of botanical inspiration?
On Thursday, April 8, join the Morris County Park Commission's collection staff as they explore some of the treasured places, inspiring people, stories and plants that have been preserved within the county’s historic gardens. Learn more about the garden design and preservation efforts at Willowwood Arboretum, Frelinghuysen Arboretum, Bamboo Brook as well as Fosterfields Living Historical Farm.
Time: 12 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. Location: Frelinghuysen Arboretum/Virtual Cost: $10.

Paranormal Investigation: The Grounds of Fosterfields
Ages 16 and up. Friday, April 16, 7:30 – 10 p.m.
The grounds at Fosterfields Living History Farm become the setting for an evening of paranormal investigations. Led by Specter Seekers Paranormal Society, join us to see what exciting paranormal activities await! To register: https://tinyurl.com/Paranormal2021

Spring Golden Hour Photography
Ages 18 and up, Sunday, April 25, 5:45 – 8 a.m.
The Fosterfields Living History Farm is in bloom and spring is officially back at Fosterfields. Join the staff at sunrise, as golden hour begins. Take photos of the new crops, new farm babies and the landscape, as the farm comes alive for the spring season. Amateur and professional photographers are invited to this unique morning experience to photograph the beauty of the farm.
