BLIZZARD
Morris County government offices will be closed to the public and non-essential personnel on Monday, Feb. 23, 2026, due to hazardous weather conditions created by the ongoing blizzard.
Heavy snow continues across the county, and meteorologists are reporting a potential for 12 to 24 inches to fall before the storm ends late Monday.
Road conditions remain hazardous as crews work to address the snow accumulation, and a state of emergency was put into place by the Governor as of 12 noon today. Residents and county employees are urged to avoid travel unless absolutely necessary to keep the roads free for emergency responders and road crews.
