CCM: 19 Student-Athletes Recognized for Academic Excellence

Garden State Athletic Conference Supports Student Success
(, 0B)Nineteen County College of Morris student-athletes have been named to the All Region XIX and All Garden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) for their performance on and off the field during the fall of 2016.
To be named an All GSAC, for their classroom and on-the field or court endeavors, student-athletes must maintain a Grade Point Average of at least 3.0, while All Region XIX designation requireds a GPA of 3.25 or greater.
"We are extremely proud of these young men and women who are representing Morris County in the best possible manner, showing their potential as future leaders of our state and county,'' said Morris County Freeholder Tom Mastrangelo, the a county governing board's liaison to CCM.

CCM is one of 16 Region XIX county colleges in New Jersey that belong to the GSAC. The GSAC provides academic and athletic opportunities to students pursuing higher education at two-year community colleges.
